Meet Moses, Store Manager.

Meet Moses, a dedicated and inspiring Store Manager at Publix, whose journey with the company began in 2012 at store 761. Starting as a 22-year-old, Moses has grown tremendously over the years, both personally and professionally. Today he is not only a husband and father but also a leader who helps others find their purpose. His journey has been shaped by the incredible leaders he’s worked with, and he is now committed to shaping the careers and lives of others.

In his current role as a Store Manager, Moses is responsible for developing and executing a store vision that influences over 200 Publix associates and serves more than 23,000 customers weekly. His role holds special significance as it allows him to give back to the community, much like a Publix store manager did for his family years ago. Moses’s mother, a Liberian immigrant, was given the opportunity to join the Publix family, which helped build a better life for their family. Now, Moses is honored to follow in those footsteps, providing others with the chance to better their lives.

Moses’s favorite thing about working for Publix is the company’s culture and unwavering commitment to the community. This was especially evident during 2024’s Hurricane Milton, when associates were at the forefront of preparations and provided a sense of normalcy afterward. For Moses and his team, opening their doors and seeing the faces of their neighbors and friends was a reminder that they were exactly where they needed to be.

Moses aims to continue growing and serving customers and associates at a higher level. While his next step is District Manager, he is open to wherever Publix needs him. The most rewarding part of his job is watching and helping people achieve their goals. Whether it’s receiving a call from a former associate who was just promoted or witnessing a promotion, Moses cherishes the privilege of playing a small part in someone else’s big story.
