Description
- Monitoring non-retail areas (Distribution, Manufacturing, and Office) in order to eliminate insects, rodents or unwanted wildlife

Required Qualifications
- Be at least 20 years old
- Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
- Have a valid drivers license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
- Be able to obtain a Limited Structural Pest Control License in Florida within one year of his or her start date in the position
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to kneel, bend, climb, stoop, and twist
- Be capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system
- Be able to use chemicals and equipment that require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Be able to read labels, write reports, calibrate chemicals, and solve math problems
- Be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
- Successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)
- Basic Office Skills and
- Following Written Instructions
- Have the ability to work well with others and be a team member
- Show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and
- Show a commitment to Publix’s mission.
- Be able to obtain medical clearance to wear respiratory protection (an air purifying respirator) within 2 weeks of accepting the contingent job offer (requires maintaining facial hair in a manner ensuring the respirator fits properly)

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
