Richard, a truck driver in Alabama, makes a big difference every day. He’s been part of the Publix family for more than 20 years and is known for offering guidance and support to his fellow drivers. “Driving safely and being on time are the keys to doing the job right,” Richard says.  

Richard’s Publix career began in a warehouse, where he worked as a selector and forklift operator. That hands-on experience and team-oriented environment helped prepare him for his current role. “I enjoy training others and watching them grow in their careers,” he says.

Outside of work, Richard loves spending time fishing and being outdoors. His family is his biggest inspiration—they encourage him to keep moving forward, whether toward his next big catch or his next goal at work. His personal philosophy, “Stay positive, even during hard times,” is something he carries both on and off the road.
