Join the HR self-service team as Senior QA Engineer supporting the Associate Experience business area. As part of this team, you will be responsible for planning testing efforts and executing on a large enterprise level and employee-facing applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, and release notes into test requirements and scenarios and possibility of automation.

Your impact:

• Analyze requirements and other documentation and create test plans.
• Create and execute manual test cases.
• Create and maintain test resources for solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Write and execute queries for complex retail data using SQL.
• Develop and execute test cases for regression.
• Develop and execute test cases for thorough functional testing with thorough validation of data.
• Provide inputs and guide load/performance testing and possible automation.
• Coordinate with development teams for test planning and execution.
• Documentation of functionality, dataflows, and approval workflows.
• Lead complex testing efforts that may include multiple SQA analysts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years’ experience conducting software quality assurance testing for enterprise applications and a thorough understanding of testing best practices.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other framework to create and execute test cases, track defects, and perform requirements coverage.
• 4+ years of experience in writing SQL queries on RDBMS platforms like SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 etc.
• 2+ years of experience testing APIs, batch jobs, and web-based front ends
• 2+ years of experience testing Cloud solutions
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing using tools like Playwright or Robot.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience
• 5+ years of experience with writing complex SQL queries to support test activities.
• Experience using Azure cloud environment.
• Experience involving in load and performance testing.
• Experience with automation either as creating or providing feedback.
• Experience with any legacy to modern application or data conversion.
• Experience with utilizing Agentic AI for testing
• Experience with improving CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
