The Senior Benefits IT Analyst supports the technical needs for the Benefits Administration, Shared Services, Group Benefits, Retirement and Stockholder Services business areas. The incumbent must maintain an in-depth understanding of the business area enterprise data sources, understanding of business area regulatory requirements and data requirements and security. The role focuses on data analysis and the development of small End User Computing (EUC) solutions and reports to support decision-making and improve business processes in the Benefits department. Key responsibilities include identifying process improvement opportunities, gathering requirements, analyzing complex data, and maintaining solutions. Additionally, the position offers technical support for EUC solutions and enterprise systems and serves as a technical expert on project teams to implement solutions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in communicating and relating directly with business users
- At least five years of experience in developing technical solutions encompassing user interfaces, data storage, and reporting, including proficiency in MS Office applications, Microsoft Power Platform, database design concepts, and HRIS applications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access
- Knowledge of:
- PowerBI
- SQL, PowerApps, SharePoint
- Office 365 architecture
- Visio
- Programming skills
- Mainframe systems
- Multiple data sources
- Accounting/finance along with exceptional math skills
- Analysis tools, formulas, and functional libraries
- Strong communication verbal, written and interpersonal as well as technical writing skills
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong skills in logic, programming principles and relational data concepts
- Leadership and skill in influencing others

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology
- Eight or more years of experience working with employee benefit plans
- Eight or more years of experience working in an office environment
- Expert knowledge of Office 365, Office 365 cloud components, and power platform components such as PowerBI, PowerApps, etc.
- Knowledge of relational database management system fundamentals (RBDMS) such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.,
- Knowledge of third-party vendor data sources such as BCBS, Avaya, OptumRx, Voya and EnterpriseRx

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
