Become a part of the Commerce Ordering team! As a Senior Azure Developer, you will be responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of the team’s cloud-native applications.

Your Impact:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and APIs using .NET, C#, and Azure services, leveraging AI-assisted development to enhance productivity and quality.
- Architect and optimize solutions leveraging Azure cloud platform capabilities to ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Build and automate Azure infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code and AI-driven tools to improve speed, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Implement and enforce Azure-aligned engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews to ensure high-quality, production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end Azure-based solutions, aligning architecture and development with business and product goals.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging Azure services, cloud-native patterns, and AI capabilities to enhance system capabilities and modernize development practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related analytical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+years of experience using .NET, C# using Visual Studio or similar IDE.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and querying both relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (i.e., Azure Cosmos DB).
- 2+ years of experience developing .NET applications hosted in Azure cloud services.
- 2+ years of experience developing event-driven solutions using Azure Functions and Azure Event Hubs, Azure Storage Queues, or Azure Service Bus
- Experience working with Azure cloud services and the broader Azure ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of front-end development experience using React or Blazor
- 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Strong experience using application design patterns and distributed architectures.
- Experience establishing best-in-class practices for developing native apps at scale on large, distributed teams, including modular app architecture, frameworks, build pipeline, cloud CI/CD, automated testing, observability, code review, static analysis, etc.
- Strong expertise of application development for large-scale distributed systems in the Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft development, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience developing highly successful apps that enjoy wide-scale distribution.
- Good communication skills in a cross-functional team environment.

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
