At Publix, our success starts with strong, strategic partnerships and efficient procurement. As a Purchasing Analyst for Facilities, you’ll play a key role in supporting stores and shopping centers by ensuring the right equipment, materials, and services are in place when and where they’re needed.
In this role, you’ll support procurement operations through a mix of analytical work, supplier collaboration, and process management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Procure equipment, parts, materials, and services to support stores, warehouses, and shopping centers
- Serve as a subject matter expert within your assigned category, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and identify improvements
- Source and evaluate supplier quotes, managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery timelines
- Manage purchase orders and requisitions in SAP, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards
- Support inventory replenishment for Facilities warehouses including internal technician vans
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 1 year experience in purchasing using SAP or equivalent ERP software or 2 years’ experience in customer service or analytical field or 1 year experience in supply chain/ inventory management
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Intermediate knowledge of Smartsheet and SAP or equivalent ERP software
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as business needs require
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher in a business-related field
- 1 year of experience in Industrial Operations procurement
- 2 years’ experience purchasing using SAP or equivalent ERP software
- 2 years’ experience using an inventory management system
- 3 years’ experience in customer service or analytical field

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
