Description
The purpose of this position is to ensure the correct virtual and physical inventory levels of all Production Cabinet Shop stock (e.g., raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods) ensure that all millwork and cabinetry orders are correctly and appropriately fulfilled and delivered in a timely manner to the corresponding retail, warehouse, and/or office location.
Responsibilities include:
- The accurate and timely shipping and receiving of production materials (e.g., finished goods, raw materials, operating supplies, and non-stocks).
- Accurately inputting and maintaining correct virtual inventory in SAP.
- Initiating and assisting with cost saving initiatives related to the shipment of millwork and cabinetry products.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Forklift license (must possess within 30 days of hire)
- Basic knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP software
- The ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
- The ability and willingness to adjust one’s style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations
- The ability to work effectively without close supervision or guidance
- The ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor

- The ability to manage time so that the priority of the activities determines the timing and amount of attention they receive
- The ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years warehouse/production shop experience
- Knowledge of methods for assembly (e.g., building cabinets), packaging, and shipping
- Knowledge of workflow management
- Knowledge of production operations
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
