Description

The Payment Processing Support associate is responsible for the following:

• Processing and distributing outgoing Accounts Payable vendor checks.
• Processing and distributing outgoing Workers’ Compensation and General Liability checks.
• Processing incoming Accounts Receivable checks for deposit.
• Prepping and imaging Finance and Corporate Accounting invoices and documents.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Minimum of two year of relevant business experience
• Ability to reconcile and analyze information and mathematical problem-solving abilities
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High level of maturity, discretion, tact, and ability to deal with confidential material
• Attention to details
• Time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
• Willingness to be a team player
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
