Description

Responsibilities include:

• Effectively executing and administering the payroll administration and HR responsibilities
• Planning and coordinating HR/Administrative processes and corporate community efforts within the department
• Reporting county, state, and government required documents
• Providing reporting and administrative support to the department
• Maintaining SAP database for work orders, PMs, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Be at least 20 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
• Ability to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Have one year experience using Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be a self-motivated individual

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Deerfield Distribution associate
• Working knowledge of Power Point
• Have an Associate’s Degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience and
• Have two years Publix administrative experience

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in December. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
