As the Lead BSA for the Store Item and Inventory Management System (SIIMS) team, you will be responsible for gathering detailed requirements for prioritized business area requests. The SIIMS team supports the following business processes for Retail store associates: adjustments, counts, in-store transfers, store-to-store transfers. SIIMS also manages item’s data, store price overrides, and price & promotion data.

Your Impact:
- Drive analysis of complex business processes to define and deliver enterprise-scale technology solutions, emphasizing automation, workflow optimization, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
- Lead cross-functional requirements gathering and solution design sessions, leveraging both Agile and traditional delivery methodologies
- Translate business objectives into clear, scalable functional, technical, and system requirements to support high-quality solution delivery
- Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business partners to design, validate, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for assigned applications, serving as a key resource for escalations and strategic decision-making
- Mentor and elevate business systems analysts by promoting best practices in requirements analysis, solution design, and documentation standards
- Provide leadership in production support, including participation in on-call rotation, system validation, and release management activities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of business systems analysis experience
- 5+ years of business experience planning, organizing, and leading solution delivery efforts in a large-scale distributed environment
- 5+ years of business experience analyzing complex problems and translating them into scalable technology solutions
- 5+ years of business experience working with enterprise RDBMS
- Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and proven ability to lead within defined roles and responsibilities
- Experience identifying, designing, and supporting business process improvements
- Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Working knowledge of Automation and AI technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Agentic AI, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and deterministic and probabilistic modeling techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- 9+ years of business systems analysis experience
- 9+ years of business experience planning, organizing, and managing enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed environment
- 9+ years of experience leading implementation solutions, resolving delivery bottlenecks through requirements hardening, risk mitigation, and timeline management
- Knowledge of modern cloud-based system architectures
- Experience performing advanced data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with project management, change management, and enterprise systems development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
