The main function of this position is the efficient and economical procurement of all raw material inventories, finished products, and services. This position is also responsible for the accumulation, analysis and processing of the closing of all production, print-for-inventory, and finished good jobs.

- Responsible for accumulating, coordinating, and maintaining procurement and job costing details that facilitate daily accounting workflows.
- Responsible for the daily procurement and job closing functions.
- Responsible for assisting with the coordination and maintenance of accurate perpetual inventory management.
- Responsible for providing ongoing assistance with internal and external customer requests/needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent,
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word,
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles,
- Knowledge of mathematics and statistical data analysis,
- Written and verbal communication skills,
- Analytical and problem solving skills,

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate of Science Degree in Business, Accounting, or Inventory Management,
- 2 years of office experience performing Business or Accounting functions with intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Access experience,
- Certification in a formal procurement related program,
- Knowledge of general Publix and Printing/Mailing Services’ policies and procedures (attendance/punctuality, plant security, safety, etc.),
- Working knowledge of Monarch (printing Services Job Management System) and Publix SAP, specific to procurement and inventory management,
- Knowledge of graphic arts printing processes, including labor standards, paper specifications, press and other printing equipment specifications,
- Broad knowledge of the functionality of Printing Services inventory/procurement/job costing systems interfacing with SAP,
- Working knowledge of Publix Manufacturing operational processes,
- Knowledge of Publix department structure,
- Knowledge of Publix improvement methodologies for facilitating improvement efforts, and
- Knowledge of Manufacturing business objectives and plans.

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
