The ITSM Support and Quality Assurance team is seeking an IT Deliver Manager who will lead the team responsible for providing support and testing for ServiceNow modules used by Publix including Incident, Request, Change, and CMDB.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software and quality assurance engineers to provide daily support of our production environment and development teams.
  • Work with development teams to build and deliver testing plans that ensure high quality releases.
  • Plan, implement and test upgrades, patches, and security fixes.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and involve them in planning and problem solving.
  • Ensure proper coordination between Technology and vendors.
  • Oversee career growth and technical knowledge for associates that report to you.
  • Work with ServiceNow to understand opportunities with their products and offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, Engineering, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of eight years of IT experience, including development implementation and maintenance of large-scale integrated solutions
  • Minimum of five years leadership experience in which one or more of the following occurred:
    • Demonstrated leadership in IT project management.
    • Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
    • Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing teams responsible for ServiceNow applications including managing routine and yearly support, implementing new enhancements, reviewing new and enhancements to ServiceNow offerings.
  • Successfully developed and implemented or supported applications in new computing architecture environments, using new and emerging technologies
  • Provided or managed a support team at an enterprise level.
  • Developed efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve complex business and technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline, high-performance work teams.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of management and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with human resource management, including knowledge of team dynamics, team building concepts, and human resource policies.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management and budgeting
  • High degree of confidentiality, maturity, self-motivation, commitment, and integrity
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and commitment to Publix and our Mission.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing or working on a ServiceNow support team.
  • Implemented new modules and interfaces with ServiceNow.

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
