Description
Are you someone who thrives on organization, coordination, and helping teams succeed? As a Facilities Design Office Coordinator at Publix, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Facilities Design leadership and associates by coordinating critical administrative processes, managing vendor invoices, and serving as a central resource for department operations. This position is essential to maintaining efficiency, communication, and collaboration that help our Facilities Design team deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support by managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, handling communications, preparing presentations and correspondence, and serving as a liaison for phone inquiries and department communications
- Managing department operations by maintaining organizational charts, membership and licensing database, reviewing expense reports and corporate credit card transactions for policy compliance
- Supporting associate engagement and onboarding by serving as a resource for company policies and benefits
- Processing invoices from vendors for new stores and remodels
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma OR equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position
- 2 years general office experience
- Must be at least 20 years of age to drive a company vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Intermediate Microsoft Word
- Basic PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business administration
- 5 years in administrative office experience in a facilities department
- SAP/MIGO Workflow
- Knowledge of the Facilities organizational structure and individual department functions
- Knowledge of Publix benefits and disability guidelines as well as Publix policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Publix organization and structure

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
