Description

The purpose of this position is to maintain building and property appearance according to Central Pharmacy’s Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with the management of supplies and recyclables.

• Maintaining the appearance of the building and property according to Central Pharmacy’s Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assisting with the management of facility recyclables, production supplies, and non-production supplies.
• Assisting the management staff at Central Pharmacy with ad hoc facility projects, special events, and meeting set ups.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience (if applicable)
• Obtain certification in forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
• Productivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher
• Forklift experience
• Warehouse and/or janitorial experience
• Spanish, Creole, etc.
• Knowledge of MSDS sheets, including familiarity with filling out sheets and proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals (i.e., cleaning supplies)
• Knowledge of Publix’s health and safety procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.
In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
