Description

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Supervisor of Lease Administration and Compliance (“SLAC”) and the SLAC Team. This includes but is not limited to administrative support associated answering the telephones, preparing and distributing written correspondence, reports and letters, filing, performing title and legal research and other responsibilities as assigned. This position also provides support and acts as a back up to the additional Lease Administration and Compliance areas.
The responsibilities listed on this position analysis are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing clerical and administrative support to the SLAC and SLAC Team
  • Acting as a back up to the Lease Administration and Compliance areas
  • Miscellaneous responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six months experience performing clerical and secretarial duties
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to accurately and effectively handle a high volume of work assignments
  • Ability to work overtime and have a flexible schedule, if needed
  • Good human relations skills and the ability to work well with others and be a team player
  • Basic skill level in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Legal or Business related field
  • Six months of experience working at Publix performing secretarial and/or clerical duties
  • Paralegal background or certification preferred
  • Knowledge of lease and title documents
  • Knowledge of Real Estate department processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Lease Administration best practices
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., SAP, SharePoint, BrassRing
  • Advanced skill level in Compass

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
