As an Associate Software Engineer on the Supply Chain Warehouse Replenishment team, you will join a team of experienced developers where you will be tasked with assisting in the design, development, and unit testing of technical solutions that improve and enhance store replenishment functions and processes.

Your Impact

• Assist in the development of new features and enhancements for Supply Chain Warehouse Replenishment applications.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and other AI tools to improve development efficiency and accelerate learning.
• Create technical design and program documentation.
• Participate in the design, development, unit testing, and implementation of cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and professional development.
• Research and apply emerging technologies and best practices.
• Provide on-call support for production applications as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of web programming technologies
• Knowledge of modern frontend technologies (Angular, Blazor, etc.)
• Understanding of AI tools and how they assist development teams
• Basic understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
• Aptitude to learn new technologies
• Ability to work after hours or on call as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of .NET and SQL
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• Previous project experience as a software engineer where you’ve helped develop an application
• Knowledge of APIs and microservices

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
