Description

  • Responsible for the AM & PM mail runs in the Risk Management department
  • Sorting and opening all incoming mail for the Risk Management department including legal mail, medical bills, liability, and a variety of miscellaneous mail
  • Indexing claim-related correspondence received via incoming mail
  • Shipping and ordering records management boxes
  • Filing and maintaining records for Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs), as assigned
  • Researching associate information in SAP for the Motor Vehicle Reports database, as assigned and as needed
  • Variety of miscellaneous tasks, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to handle a high volume of work accurately and efficiently
  • Must have the ability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities
  • Must have a good attendance and punctuality record
  • Ability to move and/or lift boxes weighing 25-50 lbs
  • Must have a basic knowledge of office equipment and operation
  • Must be able to alphabetize large volumes of documents accurately and efficiently
  • Must have basic computer knowledge and data entry experience
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Must have knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Must be able to work well with others and as a team player
  • Must show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, SAP and Riskmaster

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay
