If you meet the minimum requirements stated in the job posting that interests you, we encourage you to apply. Because Publix has a policy of promoting from within when possible, those who have experience working in a Publix store or other support areas within the company have an advantage over those who do not. Internal candidates have demonstrated understanding of our standards of excellence, our processes, and our culture. Furthermore, promoting from within allows us to recognize associates for their hard work, their willingness and ability to learn new skills, and their desire to build a career with Publix.
Apply for one of our current openings. If your submission meets all of our required qualifications, it is delivered immediately to the recruiter or hiring manager for review.
Once you apply for a non retail position, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a second email letting you know whether you meet initial required qualifications. Some candidates will receive an email inviting them to take an online test.
Start by applying for one of our current openings. We typically receive a large amount of applications for each opening and invite a few candidates to interview. If you do not receive an invitation, please consider applying to other openings with our company.
We are the largest privately held supermarket chain and the largest employee-owned company in the nation, and we continue to grow. Our hiring managers review applications and, as you can imagine, this process can take a couple weeks.
