How it all started.

Alison’s path to Publix started with a little push from her big sister Erin. Erin had already joined the team in high school as a cashier, and after seeing how much she enjoyed it, Alison decided to follow suit when she turned 16. What began as a simple after-school job soon evolved into meaningful careers.

Growing their careers.

Both sisters have come a long way since those early days. Alison started in retail and discovered a love for event planning and hiring. That passion led her to become a distribution staffing coordinator in Orlando, and now she’s a talent acquisition specialist. Erin’s path took her from retail into various administrative roles, and she’s now working as a manufacturing personnel process coordinator.

Working together, winning together.

One of the coolest parts of their story? The way they’ve supported each other every step of the way. Alison credits Erin for helping her get her foot in the door at Publix, and now—17 years later—they’re working together on manufacturing hiring.

Even though they didn’t officially work together until a couple of years ago, their collaboration has been effortless. They both love being able to bounce ideas off of each other and share insights. Their bond makes teamwork easy, and they know exactly how to play to each other’s strengths.

Making a difference.

For Alison and Erin, the most rewarding part of their jobs is helping people start their careers. They love celebrating their wins together and take pride in spreading the “Publix love” wherever they go. Their positivity and passion are contagious!
