Data Protection is a critical component to our security program. This role influences technology risk management in collaboration with teams across the company to enable highly available, secure and effective solutions. We are a highly versatile and technical team with backgrounds in application security, data protection, encryption, and risk assessment. We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst who wants to:
Responsibilities:
• 4+ years of experience in analyzing complex, enterprise business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership
• Experience planning and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
• must have basic knowledge of the following: PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA requirements
• must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of Publix associates,
• must have the ability to resolve complex business and technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgment,
• must have excellent customer service skills and commitment to teamwork,
• must be flexible and able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner,
• must demonstrate ability to work under minimal supervision,
• must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills,
• must have a high degree of confidentiality, maturity, self-motivation, commitment, and integrity and,

Preferred Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in analyzing complex, enterprise business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership
• Knowledge of infrastructure related systems client/server, workstations, servers, networks, midrange, mainframe, database, and middleware technologies
• Strong technical understanding of the .NET Framework
• Strong technical understanding of the data modeling concepts
• Experience with Retail concepts and related application software
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with data analysis database technologies like SQL server and data analysis
• Experience with .NET and/or C#
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Potential Annual Pay with Bonus 106,600 - 161,395 Minimum Base Pay 8,040 Maximum Base Pay 12,055 Frequency of Pay Monthly Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. Apply Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Data Protection team, engineering, architects, security leadership, business teams and stakeholders to design, plan, implement, and deliver solutions on strategic priorities for data protection efforts and capabilities which align with organizational and business goals
- Work with various business areas and application teams to evaluate data protection strategies that are frictionless to adopt by business teams to improve security posture and enhance protection of sensitive data.
- Serve as a product champion, understanding business drivers and processes to evaluate risk and recommend solutions with a balanced result
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to document business and system requirements with regards to data protection objectives (i.e., security, capacity, regulatory, scalability, reliability, recovery, and audit), for the most complex technology solutions under limited guidance; ensuring work performed is in line with business strategy
- Direct other Analysts to document business processes, gather requirements based on those processes, and uncover areas for improvement.
- Discuss, and make decisions with stakeholders about balancing short-term needs and aligning them with a pathway to long-term target designs
- Develops detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures
- Regularly interacts with customers on security-related projects and operational tasks, and prepares/conducts briefs to leadership on a regular basis
- Provide leadership and work prioritization for projects monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion
- Work with teams to identify risks, remove bottlenecks and impediments, execute schedules, and refine sprint backlogs
- Participates in multiple projects in parallel, balancing demands and expectations of each simultaneously
- Provide on-call after-hours support for assigned systems and components
- Research business industry trends and report on findings and make recommendations based on those trends
