Senior Manager, Digital Records Management

The Senior Manager Digital Records will provide digital records management expertise and oversight to the Corporate Records team within the Compliance and Corporate Records Management department. The Senior Manager will manage and enhance the comprehensive infrastructure to support the collection, management, protection, retention, and destruction of digital and paper records; developing and executing automated functionalities to support Publix’s record custodians. This includes leading and collaborating on digital records strategy and management of Publix’s complex systems, architecture initiatives, and department automation technology projects impacting records and information management at Publix.
  • Provide digital records management expertise and oversight to corporate records team
  • Implement and manage the digital record strategy
  • Support Electronically Stored Information (ESI) strategy
  • Support information governance vision
  • Mange vendor solutions to support digital records management
  • Design automation and record retention dashboard reporting initiatives to monitor digital records management
  • Train, develop and mentor records management associates at corporate and the inactive records warehouse
  • Advocate for records management functionality as it relates to company initiatives and other business areas
  • Partner with compliance, data protection team and IT/security as a technical liaison
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical discipline or equivalent
  • 5 years of IT related experience such as program development and design with 2 years in data management
  • Knowledge of:
    • Digital Storage Methodologies
    • Regulated Data such as PCI, PII and PHI
    • Change Management and Implementation Strategies
    • Software development methodologies
  • Experience with
    • Building digital records management infrastructures
    • Project Management
  • Ability to:

  • Must be available to work after hours and weekends when needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Continued education including additional technical, analytical, or business degrees
  • 8 years of IT related experience such as program development and design with 3 years in data management
  • Knowledge of:
    • Publix System Infrastructure
  • Intermediate Level:
    • VBA, Java, Python, etc.,
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Advanced Level:
    • Microsoft Access
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft Visio, Erwin or similar

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus 115,765 - 174,980 Minimum Base Pay 8,905.00 Maximum Base Pay 13,460.00 Frequency of Pay Monthly Hours of Work Minimum of 45 hours Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
