Print Production Coordinator Hourly Support 4 - LAK

A member of the Print Production Team within Marketing Operations, the Print Production Coordinator manages low- to mid-complexity print projects from procurement to delivery for tactics including the weekly ad circular and in-store point of purchase materials, and other routine promotional print products that support Marketing plans and drive sales. This position also manages the team’s logistics associated with the delivery of marketing materials to retail stores, which includes determining the optimal shipping methods to control costs, promote efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery. This includes consulting with business partners to determine project objectives, costs, schedules, labor, and material requirements, resolving issues impeding project progression and delivery, and selecting and managing print procurement and fulfillment suppliers to ensure high-quality print products are produced that are consistent with the Publix brand, marketing objectives, and strategy, are on budget, and are delivered on time to retail stores and customers. Additionally, this position tracks print production metrics to promote continuous quality improvement efforts.

Responsible for:

  • managing low- to mid-complexity Print Production projects from procurement to delivery. These projects involve standard/routine print products (e.g., materials for product promotions – display inserts, shelf talkers, point of purchase materials, weekly ad circular, private label)
  • coordinating and optimizing the logistics associated with the delivery of Marketing print materials (both raw and finished) including inbound shipments to warehouses and outbound shipments to Publix retail stores
  • supporting the Publix Marketing printing and fulfillment procurement sourcing strategy through tracking print production metrics and trends to promote continuous quality improvement
  • print production supplier relationship management.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration or Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 1 year business experience, or a business marketing internship

Year End Bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
