.Net Developer – Payment Services Development

Publix is seeking a Systems Analyst / Programmer who will play a key role interacting with enterprise teams to define and develop architecture, technical requirements, interfaces, & implementation approaches for transactional payment applications. As a member of this technology team, you will have an opportunity to influence architecture & design across enterprise/cross-functional teams in a high paced environment, participate in understanding customer/associate feedback to resolve or improve technical issues and develop, own, and drive the implementation of the technology roadmap.

On this team we are seeking a technical candidate with strong analytical, design, engineering, planning and problem-solving skills as well as strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. The most suitable candidate will be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.

Required Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years’ experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies and scalability
  • Minimum of four years designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks
  • Minimum of four years’ experience leveraging .NET framework 3.5 or above using ASP.NET or VB.NET/C#
  • Minimum of four years’ experience with SQL Server 2012 or 2016 databases
  • Minimum of four years’ experience with one or more of the following: HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX
  • Experience with responsive web application design and development
  • Solid knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2010/2012/2015/2016, MVC and WCF
  • Must have excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software solutions that comply with security and compliance requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry (PCI)
  • Four years’ experience with Retail concepts and related application software
  • Five years’ experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications running in a multi-platform distributed environment
  • Experience with Web API and JSON
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure related systems client/server, workstations, servers, networks, midrange, mainframe, database, and middleware technologies like MQ
  • Experience with source control preferably Azure DevOps
  • Strong technical understanding of data modeling concepts
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and product backlog maintenance
Potential Annual Pay with Bonus 75,530 - 113,880 Frequency of Pay Monthly Hours of Work Minimum 45 hours per week. Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
