Manager, Loyalty and CRM Marketing

Do you know what it takes to develop and manage a successful loyalty program? Publix is looking for a dynamic, driven individual to lead our Loyalty & CRM team.

The Manager, Loyalty & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Marketing is responsible for contributing to the development of the overall Loyalty and Personalization strategy for Publix. This position develops and directs the Loyalty & CRM Marketing function as well as provides strategic counsel to all levels of the Marketing department, business partner senior leadership, and outside suppliers.
This position is also responsible for the hiring, training and retaining of a knowledgeable and motivated Loyalty & CRM Marketing team to ensure we are providing premier service and support to customers and retail operations.
The impact this position has on Publix is leading the strategic development, Marketing resource allocation and execution of Loyalty and Personalization programs intended to support retail business goals by driving increased customer loyalty which results in increased traffic, sales, market share and loyalty.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • develops marketing strategy briefs to outline specific Loyalty and CRM business opportunities
  • manages communication channel budget for loyalty programs and marketing campaigns
  • executes and optimizes Loyalty & CRM Marketing programs for both in-store and online business
  • develops marketing communication channel plans for integrated customer-directed campaigns, loyalty programs, and CRM initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience
  • at least seven (7) years of strategy development and media planning experience in Loyalty, CRM and/or Direct Marketing including direct management responsibilities for budget, human resources and supplier relationships
  • advanced knowledge of customer relationship management, loyalty and retention programs
  • advanced knowledge of Loyalty & CRM database management, list maintenance and program fulfillment
  • knowledge of the digital marketing and digital print industries
  • knowledge of Marketing principles, processes, tools, techniques and marketing communications planning
  • knowledge of financial budgetary management, metrics, and reporting
  • excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • basic knowledge of Project and Budget Management software
  • basic knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • willingness to travel up to one week at a time with overnight stays
  • willingness to work a variable work schedule, including extended hours, weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience
  • ten (10) or more years of strategy development and media planning experience in Loyalty, CRM and/or Direct Marketing with a large company/retailer including direct management responsibilities for budget, human resources and supplier relationships. planning) including budget and supplier management
  • Salesforce Email Certified
  • knowledge of grocery industry and competitors
  • strong knowledge of CRM database management, list maintenance, data automation, and program fulfillment
  • intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • intermediate knowledge of Project and Budget Management Software
  • intermediate knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Potential Annual Pay with Bonus 89,115 - 133,705 Frequency of Pay Monthly Travel Frequency 10% Year End Bonus To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
