Industrial Operations SAP Systems Specialist - Lakeland

Industrial Operations Systems Specialists plan, design and develop complex IT solutions using SAP and supporting systems. This includes forecasting, procurement, inventory management, production scheduling, plant maintenance, warehouse management, and shipping invoicing processes while ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements. The Industrial Operations Systems Specialist (SAP) reports to the Industrial Operations IT Manager.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • documentation and implementation of the assigned Industrial Operations’ SAP ECC 6.0 modules (Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Warehouse Management (WM) and/or Sales and Distribution (SD)), supporting systems
  • inbound and outbound SAP interfaces and business processes these solutions support
  • supporting the assigned Industrial Operations SAP solutions, SAP interfaces, supporting systems and business processes supported by these solutions across all Industrial Operations facilities
  • supporting Industrial Operations’ SAP users as questions and problems arise
  • developing SAP technical skills and cross functional knowledge of team members
  • developing support documentation for Industrial Operations IT support associates
  • developing training materials for operations associates on operating procedures for new and existing SAP systems and related business processes
  • developing and performing system regression testing to ensure that expected results are achieved
  • understanding the functionality changes offered by ongoing SAP upgrades and changes resulting from applying support packages
  • leading miscellaneous IT projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or equivalent experience
  • at least three (3) years of relevant business experience (forecasting, materials planning, production scheduling, inventory management, production execution, procurement, plant maintenance, warehouse management, business systems analysis, and/or SAP configuration)

Year End Bonus: One month’s pay (pro-rated in the first year) if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
