Description

• Maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the production of food products
• Operating, monitoring and understanding the CIP systems and COP systems
• Manually and hand cleaning silo and pipeline parts
• Operating and maintaining equipment in the CIP room
• Receiving bulk chemicals
• Maintaining accurate written cleaning reports and checklists
• Cleaning production hallways, and assisting in cleaning all plant areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Good understanding of sanitation practices and principles, including manual and automated cleaning
• Willing to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to work flexible days and hours
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must have basic mechanical ability
• Must have the ability to climb ladders to clean over head piping
• Basic computer, reading, and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to solve problems in the work area with little supervision

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
