Description
- Assisting the Warehousing Operations Manager in managing projects, supporting the Administrative Assistants (TA/PA’s) and all levels of warehouse management, retail customers and Distribution associates
- Managing internal hiring process, job movement and Organizational Structure for the Distribution Facility
- Entering, analyzing, extracting and presenting data in a user-friendly format for analysis and decision making by business management and outside agencies
- Responsible for the proper Time Administration of departmental associates

Required Qualifications
- Be at least 20 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
- Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
- Have a willingness to travel, including overnight
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in business or related analytical field or equivalent business experience
- Have four years of assistant/administrative experience in an office setting
- Have knowledge of analytics
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills following Structured Writing techniques
- Have project management, organizational, time management, task management and follow-through skills
- Have computer skills using PC tools such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests (before his or her start date in the position):
- Have knowledge of budgeting practices
- Be able to work autonomously without much direction
- Be able to handle confidential material in mature manner
- Be able to negotiate
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Atlanta Distribution associate
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Have four or more years of assistant/administrative experience in an office setting

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
