Description

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to all of the District Managers (DM) in a given region.

The responsibilities listed on this position analysis are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting and supporting the District Manager in a centralized location
• For reading and responding to emails while a DM is on vacation or otherwise out of the office for a long period of time

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• 1 year of clerical or office administration experience with MS Office experience
• Knowledge of retail operations and department processes
• Knowledge of general office procedures
• Computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Publix Connection; Emc2
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with possible extended hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business
• 1 year of clerical or office administration experience with MS Office experience and
• 1 year of retail experience

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.

In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.

In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
